365 Days Locked Down

The past year has been one of the most significantly challenging years, the world over. In the beginning, none of us knew what to make of the virus 🦠 I remember bouncing between feeling like this was a bit of an overreaction to doomsday prepping.

South Africa was officially locked down this day last year. We stocked our fridges, some, their liquor cabinets, and most importantly our toilet paper supply. We settled in for what we believed would neutralise any real spread of the virus before it began.

21 days under what some people called house arrest, seemed like an eternity. It’s been an entire year, so I thought I’d share a few thoughts, in no particular order, to summarise my views.
