I actually don’t recall doing this Shorty Interview, but today I stumbled upon the interview for the Shorty Awards and given the answers, I thought I’d take a stab at answering the questions again as I see things now.
TWITTER OR FACEBOOK?
I hardly use Facebook, deliberately as it’s too addictive and just not very productive. My time is too valuable, so I use twitter more frequently.
WHAT WILL THE WORLD BE LIKE 10 YEARS FROM NOW?
I don’t think it will be very different, still no flying cars, but hopefully self driving cars are more common space. Hopefully 3D printers will be as common as ink jet printers. Hopefully the internet of things is a lot more obvious and integrated into our lives.
WHAT DO YOU WISH PEOPLE WOULD DO MORE OF ON TWITTER?
Share images relative to their tweets, makes my scanning even easier.
HOW DO YOU MAKE YOUR TWEETS UNIQUE?
I’ve started making them shorter, started adding more images.
WHAT FEATURE SHOULD TWITTER ADD?
Add to reading list so that I don’t have to favorite a tweet in order to remind myself to read it later.
HOW DO YOU USE TWITTER IN YOUR PROFESSIONAL LIFE?
I use it to stay current on whats happening in the industry.
WHO DO YOU ADMIRE MOST FOR HIS OR HER USE OF TWITTER?
Nobody really stands out for me, theres just so much tweeting going on.

WHY’D YOU START TWEETING?
Cause it was new and wanted to learn more, this was before the all the hype (basically before E made it celebrity cool)

I’m not as inspired to tweet as much anymore, but I do hope there are people reading it who think I’m interesting enough to follow and hopefully that presents interesting opportunities

Yeah definitely, I have no need to watch the news, if I want to stay current, I use twitter.
