How it works

This is 1:1 coaching, shaped around what you need. That might be a one-off session to solve a specific problem, or a longer engagement where we work through bigger decisions. All sessions are held online — so we can work together wherever you are.

What exactly is design coaching?

It’s structured, one-on-one support to help you think more clearly, make better decisions, and grow in your role. It’s not about me giving you the answers — it’s about building the tools and frameworks you need to navigate the challenges yourself.

Who is this for?

I coach executives, team leads, and designers — across the creative and tech industries. Some want to get more value out of design. Some want to lead better. Others want to find clarity in their own careers. If design is part of your world, we’ll probably have a lot to talk about.

What isn’t coaching?

This isn’t a design service. I’m not here to do the work for you, critique your UI, or build your campaign. Coaching is about developing your thinking, not delivering output. It’s about you becoming better at what you do — not outsourcing it to me.

What kind of topics can we cover?

Anything that sits at the intersection of design, leadership, and growth. That might be building your team, setting a new direction, handling a difficult stakeholder, figuring out your next move, or questioning whether you’re even in the right role. Bring the challenge — we’ll unpack it together.

How do I get the most out of coaching?

Come with a clear topic or challenge you want to work on. Be open, honest, and ready to do the thinking. Coaching works best when you’re willing to reflect and act — not just listen.

How long is each session?

Sessions are typically 60 minutes and held online via Google Meet. That’s enough time to dive into one or two meaningful topics and leave with something useful to work on.

How many sessions do I need?

That depends on what you’re trying to solve. Some people get what they need from a single session. Others prefer an ongoing cadence — monthly, fortnightly, or something more flexible. We can figure that out together.

Where do sessions take place?

Everything happens online — usually over Google Meet. You’ll get a link after booking, and we start on time.

Can we work together on an ongoing basis?

Yes. If there’s ongoing value, I’m happy to support you over a longer stretch. I’ve worked with some people for a few months, others for over a year. It’s always based on what’s useful, not what’s fixed.

Do you offer team coaching or group sessions?

Yes, selectively. If you have a small leadership team or a group of designers who’d benefit from guided sessions together, we can set something up. Just get in touch and let’s talk about what you need.

What’s your background?

I’ve been a designer for 25 years, a creative leader for over 15, and a design exec at agencies, startups, and in-house teams. I’ve hired, built, restructured, and led design orgs. I’ve coached teams through launches, layoffs, pivots, and promotions. I’m not guessing how this stuff works — I’ve lived it.
